Prez debate was a joke

It was so nice that the media blocked 90 minutes of air time — without commercial interruption no less — to give everyone a front-row seat to the circus… I mean debate. If I could have, I would have tossed my bucket of buttered popcorn through the screen.

The suits would have done the country a better service if they had Jimmy Kimmel emcee and offered pre-debate comments about the candidate’s fashion choices by the heads on Entertainment Tonight. Then at least it would be an Emmy contender next year.

What an excuse for a debate — I got up Tuesday morning not knowing anything more about each of their plans than I did on Monday morning.

No answers, no concrete plans — just insults, innuendoes, and a lame apology from Hillary that erasing those 3,000 e-mails was a bad mistake on her part. Was it really Russians to blame for the hacking? Don’t know and don’t care. But a former Secretary of State and first lady that doesn’t know that “C” is for “classified” and not “cookie” is not good enough for me.

Twitter was more alive with debate than the debate.

When the question of national security rolled around, that big elephant of Benghazi just sat in the room and ate some peanuts. Hillary was so sure that she was better able to handle our foreign interests and safety than Donald, because as Secretary of State, she had the experience, she said.

Really, what about Benghazi? How capable was she then? Or was that a really bad mistake too? It was on her watch that the embassy in Benghazi was fire-bombed. If Hillary was so capable, U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens would still be alive today.

I am tired of all the political rhetoric. I am tired of career politicians that will do whatever is necessary to be elected, again and again and again without benefiting all of us little people that vote.

Not for Nuthin,™ but what did Albert Einstein say about insanity? “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” We must be insane then, because we keep on voting in the same old politicians to sit at Pennsylvania Avenue — and yet we expect different results.
