PS 238 show brings school year to an end — with a round of applause

The giggling seventh graders adjusted their pink and blue wigs, made sure their rosy cheek patches were in place and excitedly waited for their cue to step on stage at PS 238, and help make the magic happen!

The starry-eyed students were part of a larger costumed bunch which engaged mom and dad with plenty of showmanship during a rollicking summer concert, June 3, at the Midwood school on East Eighth St. between Avenue P and Quentin Road, which showcased their song and dance talents, and brought the school year to a close.

Audience members clapped and toe-tapped along as the costumed crew transformed the auditorium into a hall of sweet skits and melodies to hail the start of summer.— Shavana Abruzzo
