PSAL football Week 9 round-up: Fort Hamilton puts up 50 at Tottenville

Fort Hamilton stayed perfect with an impressive 50-14 win over Tottenville in PSAL City Championship division football Saturday night under the lights in Huguenot. The win also keeps Tottenville from earning a home game in the first round of the playoffs.

Levon Williams returned an interception 19 yards for a touchdown to give Fort Hamilton (9-0) a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter and Frank Lanio later hit Williams for scores of 42 and 47 yards to increase the lead to 28-6 at the half. Alton Richardson had a 22-yard scoring run, Laino ran in for a touchdown from 27 yards out in the fourth and Brandon Reddish returned an interception 65 yards for the final score. Tremaine Wilson carried the ball 30 times for 218 yards and two touchdowns for Tottenville (5-4).

Erasmus Hall 30, Brooklyn Tech 18: Kristen Liverpool rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries for Erasmus Hall (5-4). He also made 12 tackles and had an interception. Justin Johnson completed 5-of-8 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown to Jonathan Yearwood. Wayne Morgan made nine tackles. Brooklyn Tech is 3-6.

Boys & Girls 38, Grand Street 6: Khalif Ossen rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns on five carries for Boys & Girls (6-3). Kadeem Cousar carried the ball six times for 101 yards and a touchdown and Kristopher Moton ran for 88 yards and a score on 10 carries. Wilber Lee returned a kickoff 75 yards for a score. Justin Andujar completed 8-of-20 passes for 100 yards for Grand Street (0-9).

Sheepshead Bay 28, New Utrecht 0: Devontai Carli rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries and Naquan Lawrence carried the ball 11 times for 150 yards and a score for Sheepshead Bay (7-2). Lawrence also made 10 tackles and had three interceptions Devon Jordan ran for 144 yards and a score on eight carries. Andre Civil made nine tackles. New Utrecht is 2-7.

Grady 36, Lincoln 20: Ikeem Williams ran for 245 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries for Grady (6-3). Kenny Leveille completed 7 of 9 passes for 215 yards and a touchdown and Anthony Holder caught three passes for 138 yards and a touchdown. Jasper Kelly made 12 tackles, including four for a loss. Lincoln is 1-8.

Midwood 28, James Madison 6: Colin Hannay completed 7-of-13 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown to Jonathan Fernandez and carried the ball seven times for 56 yards and a score for Midwood (4-5). Donovan Edwards rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and added six tackles and intercepted two passes. David Fung rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown for James Madison (0-9).

LEVEL 3

Jefferson 41, Tilden 0: Mark Thomas caught three touchdown passes for 117 yards for Jefferson (7-2). His longest catch was for 58 yards. Stephen Austin completed 2-of-3 passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns and Ricky Joseph was 4-for-6 passing for 67 yards and score. Javan Savage made six tackles, including four sacks and Maurice George had eight tackles. Tilden is 0-9.

CUP DIVISION

Franklin Roosevelt 43, Lafayette 6: Esmin Feratovic rushed for 102 yards on 12 carries and Chad Elliot scored three times and ran for 45 yards on seven carries for FDR (7-1), which had a 29-point second quarter. Justin Sweberg made six tackles. Lafayette is 0-8.

Automotive 19, Information Technology 12: Reco Speede threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns on 5-of-10 passing for Automotive (5-3). Carlos Bolanos caught both scores for a total of 69 yards. James Clark rushed for 13 yards and a score on four yards. Warren Eley made 11 tackles including two sacks. Information Technology is 3-6.
