Robbed on Second

A thug punched a woman in the face during a Oct. 14 robbery on Second Place.

The victim was nearing Clinton Street at 8 pm when the suspect attacked and ran off with her belongings.

Cheesy crime

A thief broke into a Smith Street pizzeria over the Oct. 8 weekend — but sped away without taking anything.

Workers at the eatery between W. Ninth and Huntington streets found the door forced when they opened for business at 10:40 am on Oct. 10.

Bike swipe

A thief clipped — then ran off with — a bike chained to the front of a Carroll Street home on Oct. 12.

The 32-year-old owner of the $400 Kilo Pro bicycle left his two-wheeler between Carroll and Clinton streets at 8:30 am. But, when he returned a day later, the bike was gone.
