When teens attack Vol. 1
Two teen punks beat and robbed a 16-year-old boy on 63rd Street on Oct. 5, taking his phone.
The victim told police that he was on his way home from school between 20th and 21st avenues at 4:05 pm when the teen tyrants accosted him.
“You got a phone? Give it me!” One of crooks whined.
The reprobates proceeded by shoving the victim and then slugged him in the face, before taking the kid’s phone, cops said.
When teens attack Vol. 2
Four teenage delinquents robbed two younger boys at the 25th Avenue subway station along the D line on Oct. 2, taking their phones.
The victims told police that they entered the station at 86th Street at 3:30 pm and made their way to the Manhattan-bound platform, when the older gang of delinquents approached and surrounded them.
The teen troublemakers didn’t resort to physical violence, but rather turned out the two boys’ pockets after a brief exchange. After taking their cellphones, one of the crooks uttered a chilling threat, cops said.
“If you tell anybody about this, I’ll f— you up,” the bully bellowed.
Dodge and weave
Cops arrested a woman who they say stole hair weaves from an 86th Street beauty salon on Oct. 1, and then slugged a worker on her way out.
The victim told police he was working at the salon between Stillwell Avenue and W. 13th Street at 1:42 pm when he spotted the suspect, along with two other men, grab a bundle of Remy Hair Weaves and make for the exit.
When the victim tried to run interference, either the suspect or one of her accomplices slugged him the face, before making their escape, cops said. The victim immediately called police, who swooped in and busted the woman following a brief search, although her alleged partners are still on the lam, according to police.
Bark, don’t bite
A gun-wielding maniac fired shots at a 65th Street animal clinic during a botched robbery on Oct. 1.
The victim told police that she was behind the counter of the veterinarian’s office between Bay Parkway and 23rd Avenue at 6 pm when the suspect barged in and growled, “hand it over.”
It’s not clear exactly what he was after, but what’s clear is that the victim refused the gunman’s demands, and he responded by firing a single shot. Fortunately, nobody was injured, and the would-be-thief fled empty-handed, cops said.
Face-crook
Three miscreants lured a 16-year-old boy into an ambush at a New Utrecth Avenue subway station along the N line on Sept. 29.
The victim told police that he met one of the crooks just past the turnstile at the train station near 62nd Street at 9:26 pm after arranging a meetup through Facebook to purchase sneakers.
Unbeknownst to the victim, however, two crooks were lurking off the side and quickly sprung up to grab his arms. Once restrained, the remaining thief went through his pockets, while one his buddies shouted, “the train is coming, get what you can.”
Apparently they didn’t get much — the victim told police no belongings were taken before the crooks flung him to the ground and fled aboard a train, according to police.
Swept with rage
A 47-year-old man is wanted for beating a man with a broomstick on 20th Avenue on Oct. 4.
The victim told police that he got into a car accident between 61st and 62nd streets at 1:45 pm. The other motorist emerged from his car, took up a broomstick handle, and whacked the victim a good one.
But the victim was no wimp, and he gave as good as he got, slugging the other man in the face, cops said.
Dental damned
A brutal goon beat a man on 65th Street on Sept. 30, sending him to the hospital to receive stitches — in his mouth.
The victim told police that he was between Bay Parkway and 23rd Avenue at 4:10 am, when an argument he was having with a stranger turned violent.
The brute took up some unidentified object and used it to work over the suspect’s upper body. Eventually, the victim succumbed to the blows and fell the ground, landing on his face, and opening up a nasty wound in his mouth, cops said.
Scaredy-cat
A burglar bashed his way into a Bay Ridge Avenue apartment on Oct. 2, but fled empty-handed after discovering the owner inside.
The victim told police that she was inside her apartment between 20th and 21st avenues at 11:46 am when she heard the doorbell ring numerous times. The victim didn’t answer, and it wasn’t long before the crook started kicking down her front door.
It was only then that the victim revealed herself, and the would-be-thief fled none the richer, cops said.
Jewel thief
A thief broke into and ransacked a 68th Street apartment on Oct. 1.
The victim told police that she left returned to her home between 20th and 21st avenues at 7:30 am, when she discovered that her door was ajar, and the door frame damage.
Inside, she discovered her bedroom was in shambles and her jewelry collection nowhere to be found, cops said.
