Representatives of the New York State Attorney General, the Brooklyn Borough President, and the 61st Police Precinct all are on the agenda for the next Madison-Marine-Homecrest Civic Association’s first meeting of the fall season, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the lower auditorium of the Kings Highway Reformed Church, Quentin Road and East 27th Street.
Questions and concerns of residents will also be addressed.
“Most citizens know that you can get questions answered and action from city agencies by calling 311 or going to a website,” said Mary Powell, president of the civic association. “Since it has been involved in many high profile cases, we contacted Andrew Cuomo’s office to find out how the State Attorney General can help individuals and civic groups, including the types of services it offers and priorities of issues it might address.”
Rashmi Vasisht, the communications coordinator for Inter-Governmental and Community Affairs, will represent the Attorney General’s Office.
While the meeting is free and open to the public, attendees are encouraged to join the MMHCA. Dues are $10 per family, per year.
