Rabbi beats sex rap

A Brooklyn rabbi accused of molesting two young yeshiva students was allowed to plead to a lesser charge and sentenced to probation after the prosecution’s case against him fell apart, officials said.

Yet this turn of events will do little to stop the ongoing lawsuit against the former yeshiva teacher who allegedly abused a number of his students over the years.

Officials from the Kings County District Attorney’s office confirmed that Rabbi Joel Kolko, 62, pleaded guilty to child endangerment on the condition that he is sentenced to three years probation.
