Really wrong turn for a boat

It was pretty far from the nearest harbor, so firefighters had to bring the water to it. Smoke eaters were called to the corner of Richards Street and Visitation Place in Red Hook Saturday after a small watercraft managed to sail its way onto a neighborhood street and then catch fire. Fire officials said that the 8 p.m. blaze – which is being investigated as suspicious – was put out in a short time. No injuries were reported.
