A straphanger was mugged by four thugs as he rode the J train into the Marcy Avenue station last week.
Police were told that the train was nearing the station at 3:50 a.m. on August 27 when another rider approached and complimented him on his iPhone.
He was soon joined by three others, who told the 26-year-old victim to give up his property.
“Don’t worry,” one of the suspects said. “We’ve done this to dudes older than you.”
The thieves ran off with the victim’s iPhone, as well as his sunglasses, shoes and earrings, officials said.
Cops were still looking for the thieves as this paper went to press.
Cops have arrested two of three suspects allegedly responsible for beating and robbing an 18-year-old on the J line Monday.
The victim told police that he was waiting for the train at the Essex Street stop at 3:15 a.m. on August 31 when the three thugs approached, asking if he was a member of the Latin Kings.
The victim said he wasn’t and got on the approaching train. The thieves followed suit and attacked, beating him with their fists, feet as well as a belt, police alleged.
The suspects ran off with the victim’s gold necklace and $60, but he wasn’t about to give the pricey bauble up. He chased down one of the thieves, tackled him and held him until police arrived.
Responding officers rounded up and arrested the second male.
The third male was still at large.
A jogger on the Williamsburg Bridge was held up, but then let go because she didn’t have any pockets to hold anything of value, cops were told.
The woman was on the footpath approaching the Brooklyn side of the bridge at 8 a.m. on August 27 when the suspect grabbed her.
“What do you have in your pockets?” he demanded to know.
When the jogger informed him that she had no pockets in her jogging clothes, the thief let her go, police said.
A 31-year-old woman suffered a concussion during a brutal mugging in which a thug threw her into a fire hydrant.
The victim told police that she was nearing the corner of Berry and South 4th streets at 3:30 a.m. on August 23 when the suspect approached.
“Hey girl, what’s up?” the stranger asked before he grabbed the woman and threw her into the hydrant.
The thief then ran off with her purse, which contained $150, some credit cards and a MetroCard.
A young couple was robbed of their cash and cell phones as they were held up by a crew of thugs on Hooper and South 3rd streets.
The victims, 24 and 25, said they were just steps away from their apartment building at 3:45 a.m. on August 25 when the ten suspects chased them down.
Police were told that the thieves threw the young woman against a fence and snagged her purse. They then turned their attention on her escort, who they beat and robbed, officials said.
Cops were asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

A $449 guitar and a keyboard were removed from a 2002 Ford Ecoline truck while it sat on Boerum Street between Graham and Humboldt Avenues, officials said.
The victim, 51, said she parked the vehicle in the spot at 1 a.m. on August 24.
When she returned to the truck the following afternoon, she noticed that someone had busted the passenger side window and swiped the musical equipment and an iPod.
