Robbin’ hoodies: Crooks swipe $1K worth of sweatshirts from Williamsburg store

That’s cold.

Police are looking for a pair of crooks who swiped more than $1,100 worth of Nike thermal hoodies from a Williamsburg sporting goods store then threatened an employee with a knife when he tried to stop them.

The bad sports entered the jock shop at Graham Avenue and Broadway at around 10 am on Oct. 21, and proceeded to pilfer several of the hooded sweatshirts and left the building without paying, according to a police spokesman.

A store employee then confronted the duo in front of the emporium, and one of the louts pulled out a knife and said, “Is this worth losing your life over?” before the men hopped in a white Nissan Altima and drove off, according to a police report.

Officials have released store security footage of two suspects, who they describe as between 18 to 20 years old.

Police ask anyone with information about the crime to call (800) 577–8477, submit tips at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text 274637 followed by TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
