Cops are on the hunt for a brute who they said repeatedly punched and then robbed a woman inside a Williamsburg bank on Tuesday.
The 47-year old victim was inside Dime Community Bank on Havemeyer Street near South Fifth Street when the suspect approached her at 8:25 am and began socking and shoving her, according to police, who said the man then stole $420 in cash from the woman before fleeing the scene.
Medics transported the victim to Woodhull Hospital following the incident, where she arrived in stable condition and was treated for injuries to her head, nose, and ear, authorities said.
Officials described the suspect as a male in his late 30s who is approximately 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds.
