Stin iyia sou (cheers) to the Investors Bank and Investor’s Foundation for the generous cash grant of $150,000 to the Hellenic Classical Charter School.

Investors’ chief operating officer Domenick Cama, market manager Regina Scire, and regional manager Ana Oliveira presented the check to Principal Christina Tettonis, school chairman Charles Capetanakis, director of operations Joy Petrakos, and students Jayden Martinez and Aliyah Josephs.

The grant will be distributed over five years in increments of $30,000 each year, and be used to buy 17 interactive Smart Boards and upgrade the school’s tech systems.

Standing O pal Capetanakis was happy about the greenbacks.

“This is great news for our school and more importantly for our students,” he said. “We look forward to implementing the new technological advances in the classrooms.”

Investors is certainly investing in the future with this gift, said Principal Tettonis.

“The funds will help our students become college and career ready and benefit our students for years to come,” she added.
