A 15-year-old Brooklyn Tech student was robbed by two bigger teens whose mothers evidently never taught them their manners.
The victim was walking home on Ashland Place on Jan. 15 at around 3:30 pm when two young men — both around 6-feet and wearing black jackets — approached him at the corner of DeKalb Avenue.
One of the perps simply said, “Shut up!” and went through the boy’s pockets.
The pair of perps took $23 from the kid, along with his portable gaming device, worth $200 — and ran off without even saying thank you.
Bodega bopped
A small grocery store on Lafayette Avenue was robbed at gunpoint on Jan. 20.
The perp — a powerfully built 6-foot-2 man who was wearing work boots and a hooded jacket that concealed his face — entered the store, near Cumberland Street, at around 9 am, wordlessly pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the 75-year-old man behind the counter, and said, “Give me all the money in the register.”
The clerk, not wanting to argue, handed $200 to the man, who fled.
Nab muggers
Two women robbed another woman in broad daylight on Jan. 17, but didn’t get far enough away from the scene of the crime.
The perps accosted a 49-year-old woman walking on Ashland Place, near Lafayette Avenue, at around noon. They demanded a cellphone and $40, but when the victim said she didn’t have any money, they threw her against the wall, took her digital camera, snatched her wedding ring from her finger, and even tore the watch from her wrist, cutting her hand.
Cops canvassed the area and found the two perps, ages 39 and 36, just blocks away. The women had all the stolen loot on them, and the property was returned to the victim, cops said.
