Somebody stole a scooter from a 12-year-old boy at a Fifth Avenue playground on Sept. 18.

The victim’s mother told police her son was at the play space near Fourth Street at 3 pm when the villain snagged her son’s ride and scooted away.

No arrests have been made, and the case was closed, cops said.

Hard to handle

Some goon broke the handle off a man’s car door on Garfield Place on Aug. 29.

The victim told police he left his ’06 Mini Cooper between Plhemus and Fiske places on Aug. 29, and when he returned to it nearly three weeks later, he discovered some jerk had snapped the handle off his driver-side door.

No arrests have been made in the case, which has been closed, cops said.

Rough ride

A cab driver socked a drunken man in the face on Fifth Avenue on Sept. 17.

The victim told police he was arguing with the cabbie between Lincoln and St. Johns places at 10:40 pm when the driver slugged him right in the honker, giving him a nose bleed and sending him sprawling to the ground.

When police showed up, they discovered the victim “highly intoxicated and uncooperative,” cops said.

No arrests have been made, and the case was closed, according to police.

Bike bandit

A thief rode off with a man’s bike he left on Prospect Park West on Sept. 16.

The victim told police he parked his Beach Cruiser bike between 10th and 11th streets at 10 am, and returned about three hours later to find his pedal-powered ride stolen.
