Scoundrels assault man and steal his sneakers and bag

Detention time

A pack of six perps threatened a man with a knife, punched him in the face, and stole his sneakers and school bag in a Bay Parkway park on Nov. 13.

The assault and theft occurred at the park at 74th Street just before 5 pm, police said. The perps fled down W. 12th Street towards Kings Highway, according to the report.

No steal

A lout struck a woman with a metal object on Avenue P on Nov. 13 and tried to steal her bag.

The assault occurred around 4:50 pm between W. Fourth and W. Fifth streets, when the perp approached the woman while she was going to the dentist and struck her on her left arm, police said.

When the baddie tried to take her bag the woman started yelling, which scared him into getting into his car and driving off, according to the report.

Drove off into the night

A thief stole a black 2014 Toyota Sienna from its 64th Street parking spot at some point overnight on Nov. 13.

The driver parked the vehicle between 18th and 19th avenues at 4:40 pm, and returned the following morning to an empty spot, police reported.

Stole the wheels

A thief stole a woman’s gray 2003 Volkswagen Passat from its 66th Street parking spot sometime overnight on Nov. 14.

The owner parked the vehicle between 17th and 18th avenues at 6 pm, and the baddie took off with it sometime later, according to authorities.

Didn’t get far

Police arrested a man who they say struck another man with a blunt object, punched him multiple times, and stole his cellphone on 15th Avenue on Nov. 16.

Cops say the alleged assault and theft occurred at 73rd Street around 7:30 pm, when the suspect allegedly struck the victim and demanded his money and phone before grabbing the phone and fleeing on foot.

Officers found the man with the phone soon after, at 73rd Street and 14th Avenue, according to the police report.

Phone a friend

A group of four robbers stole $200 and electronics 20th Avenue store on Nov. 16, and threatened an employee with a gun.

One of the perps put a gun to the employee’s head at the store between 65th and 66th streets around 10:30 pm, and three others entered wearing ski masks, and stole the cash and electronics, cops reported.

Frontstabber

A lout stabbed a man multiple times in his upper body and abdomen on Kings Highway on Nov. 17.

The assault occurred at McDonald Avenue around 3:30 am, when the pair of men stepped outside a bar to fight, and the perp pushed the man to the ground and began stabbing him in his back, shoulders, arms, and abdomen, according to authorities.

The stabber then fled in a car down Kings Highway towards E. Second Street, police said.

Blinged out

A baddie stole $480 from a man, along with his jewelry and credit and debit cards, on Benson Avenue on Nov. 17.

The theft occurred at Bay 17th Street around 5:20 pm, when the thief took the man’s wallet out of his pocket, stole his chain from his neck, and took his ring from his left middle finger, police said, adding that the perp fled towards 86th Street on foot in an unknown direction.
