Slashed

Two jerks slashed a man’s face in front of an Ocean Avenue bank on Feb. 22.

According to police, the bandits told the man to, “run his money,” outside the bank near Avenue U at 9:30 pm before beating him and then fleeing down Avenue U. Police said they recovered a letter opener at the scene.

Cashed out

Some looter broke into an E. 18th Street store on Feb. 21 and stole the cash register.

The nogoodnik shattered the glass door at the Kings Highway shop at 1 am and took the register, which contained more than $200, according to cops. Police said they recovered a single black glove and an umbrella from the scene of the crime.

Masked men

Three crooks burgled an Avenue V convenience store on Feb. 22.

Employees at the Coney Island Avenue bodega told cops the masked marauders entered at 6:30 am, brandished a gun, and shouted, “don’t say anything, give me everything.”

Authorities said the thieves looted cash, cigarettes, and about 20 lottery tickets before fleeing toward E. 12th Street.

Home invasion

A burglar broke into a home at E. 29th Street on Feb. 23.

The prowler looted cash from the Avenue V residence and attempted to open a safe before a motion-alarm activated around 7 pm, according to police.
