Police are looking for two screwdriver-brandishing bandits who broke into a man’s Bushwick residence while he was sleeping, punched him in the face, and stole his money on June 23, according to a report.
The victim was catching some Zs at his abode near Palmetto Street and Irving Avenue at around 12:30 am, when the pair broke in, waking him up, police said.
One of the ne’er-do-wells threatened the victim with the screw-turning tool and slugged him in the face, and the pair then ran off with an unspecified amount of his cash, cops said.
Police describe one of the suspects as around 30 years old, 5-foot-10, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, dark T-shirt, dark shorts, dark sneakers, and black gloves.
The second suspect is also around 30 years old, and was last seen wearing a dark bandanna around his neck, white shirt, dark shorts, white sneakers, and dark gloves.
