Ain’t Nick
A woman had herself an un-merry little Christmas after some Bad Santa broke into her York Street apartment and walked out with a sack full of valuables in the early morning hours of Dec. 25.
The victim said she left her pad near Gold Street at midnight and when she returned home the next day, she discovered her apartment door slightly ajar and two televisions, a microwave, two pairs of diamond earrings, and a gold chain were missing, according to a report.
Uneasy rider
A louse stole a straphanger’s phone and headphones on a train near Flatbush Avenue on Dec. 18.
The victim told police he was riding on a Manhattan-bound 3 train at 5 pm when a rustler sat down next to him and asked, “Are you a gang member? I have a gun.”
The thief then took the victim’s electronics, and let him get off at the Nevins Street stop, according to a report.
Two thumbs down
Some villain stole a guy’s car on Pacific Street while the owner was at the cinema on Dec. 23.
The victim parked his car while he took in dinner and a movie near Court Street at 4 pm, but when he returned his car was nowhere to be found, police said.
Five-finger discount
A sneak swiped a woman’s cash-filled handbag while she was busy browsing inside a Fulton Street store on Dec. 22.
The victim told police she put her purse next to her feet as she was perusing clothes at 7 pm in the emporium near Duffield Street. But when she went to pick up her bag — which contained $300 in cash, several credit cards, and her car keys — it was gone.
