A senior citizen died after being hit by a driver in a sports utility vehicle in Flatlands on Oct. 26.
A 65-year-old male driving a Nissan hit Florence Bello, a 63-year-old woman, near Ralph Avenue and East 65th Street at 7:04 am. Police found Bello unconscious and unresponsive and emergency medical services pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police say the driver remained on the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
