Senior scammer

68th Precinct

Bay Ridge-Dyker Heights

Builder burglar

A guy posing as a construction worker scammed an elderly woman into letting him inside her Shore Road home on July 5 and giving him access to her jewelry.

The perp convinced the senior citizen to let him into her backyard, which is near 70th Street, around 11:30 am. He was then able to enter her home in order to swipe her rings and watch.

Stone cold

A bling-loving thief jacked about a dozen pieces of birth stone-studded jewelry from a Fifth Avenue apartment on July 6.

The stylish victim told cops that she had left her house, which is between 87th and 88th streets, to go shopping around 11:30 am, and returned less than an hour later to find her front door open and her necklaces, bracelets and rings gone.

Bag man

A robber stole two pocketbooks from a car on Third Avenue on July 10.

The jerk broke into the vehicle, which had been parked between 75th and 76th streets, sometime between 2 and 8 am by popping the lock to the driver’s-side door. The victim told cops that her bags contained cash, various cards, keys, a flash drive and her cell.

Parking pusher

A middle-aged bald guy broke a senior citizen’s elbow in a dispute over a parking space on the corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 67th Street.

The injured geezer told cops that the brawny jerk punched his car and cursed at him after he pulled into the spot around 2:30 pm on July 10. The victim got scared and tried to run, but the perp shoved him before he could get away.
