A gun-wielding yahoo fired a single shot inside Caribe Catering Hall during a teen’s birthday party late Saturday night on April 8, police said.

The suspect entered the hall on Avenue N venue near E. 51st Street at about 11:30 pm during a Sweet 16 bash and fired one bullet, officials said.

No one was injured and police are investigating, according to authorities.

Locals have long complained about the venue over guests’ late-night partying — raising a ruckus and leaving trash outside — and this incident should finally be a wake up call that something needs to be done to shut the place down, said one resident who lives on the block and asked to remain anonymous. He said he called 311 that night to complain about the noise, but didn’t hear a gun go off.

“There was screaming and carrying on, like they always do —I thought kids were just messing around again,” the local said. “I don’t know how they can stay open with all the complaints, all kinds of nonsense. I don’t know how they get away with it. It’s horrible.”

A woman who answered the phone at the Mill Basin catering hall declined to comment.
