Teacher sex assault
A teacher at Three Hierarchs Parochial School in Midwood was arrested on June 7 for allegedly exposing himself to a 7-year-old student.
Police said that the 56-year-old educator, a resident of Borough Park, was hit with sex abuse charges after his victim came forward, claiming the teacher also forced her to touch his privates and kiss him on the mouth. It was unclear if the assault took place on the grounds of the school, which is located on Avenue P between East 17th and East 18th streets.
Cop stabbed
A 21-year-old drug addict was arrested on June 5 after he allegedly stabbed a cop with a hypodermic needle.
The cop had stopped the suspect on an unrelated matter on East 18th Street and Avenue U at 9:35 pm when he allegedly wigged out and stabbed the officer in the hand.
It was later determined that there was some heroin residue in the needle when it was used as a weapon.
The officer was taken to New York Community Hospital for treatment, officials said.
Hendrickson cat fight
A 33-year-old woman was arrested on June 12 after she was caught grappling with another woman inside a home on Hendrickson Street.
Police did not disclose what sparked the fight, but said that when they arrived at the address, which is between Avenues T and U, at 5 pm, they found the two women fighting with each other.
The victim told police the two of them were in a heated argument when the suspect took a swing at the other woman — but missed.
She then lunged, wresting the other to the ground.
Cops charged the 33-year-old with assault in the third degree, criminal mischief and resisting arrest when she refused to be handcuffed and tried to kick out a police cruiser’s windows.
Door jiggler busted
A 20-year-old thief was arrested on June 12 after he attempted to loot cars parked on a Homecrest Street.
Police said the suspect was seen riding down Avenue T between East 13th and East 14th streets on a bike at 6:10 am.
He was spotted checking car door handles while on his ride.
When cops arrived at the scene, the thief was spotted in a residential driveway, attempting to enter a car parked there, officials said.
Storage stealer
A 44-year-old man was arrested on June 7 after he was seen rummaging through a storage room inside an East 12th Street building.
Police said that the thief was leaving the building, which is between Kings Highway and Avenue R, just before 4 pm with a box of tying twine, plastic bags and some garbage bag ties — quite a haul!
Fearsome two-by-four
A man ended an argument with another man on June 10 by taking a swing at him — with a two-by-four.
Police said they were called to Utica Avenue between Avenue M and N in Mill Basin after the 18-year-old suspect struck his victim in the head with the piece of wood.
The suspect was apprehended a short time later, trying to drive out of the area with a suspended license, officials said.
Cops charged him with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Scratching the surface
Beware of women with steak knives in their purses.
A Flatlands family learned this the hard way on June 8 when a 24-year-old threatened to cut an East 34th Street resident with the knife, then used the blade to “key” a Mercedes 550 parked outside.
Police said that the 24-year-old suspect was arrested two days after all the action, which took place between Avenue I and Flatbush Avenue.
E. 55 wig out
Cops were called to a Flatlands home on June 13 after a 22-year-old went ballistic during an argument.
Police said that the young man was arguing with another tenant at the address between Glenwood Road and Avenue H at 11:39 am when the suspect struck the other man with the heel of his hand.
He then threw a chair at his opponent, but the chair missed its target, instead smashing into a window.
The suspect also broke a mirror during his tirade before cops arrived and charged him with assault in the third degree, criminal mischief, menacing and harassment.
Popped and robbed
A 20-year-old man was mugged on June 5 as he walked to a Homecrest train station.
The victim said that he was approaching the corner of Avenue U and East 19th Street just before 4:30 am on June 5 when an unidentified man ran up to him.
“Give me everything you got,” the man said before he punched him in the face, robbing him of $20, his iTouch and Blackberry.
Up in smoke
Thieves mugged a 48-year-old on June 5 after asking the man for a cigarette.
The victim said he had just parked his car at the corner of Avenue S and East 15th Street at 5 am on June 5 and was locking up his car when four strangers walked up to him and asked if he had a cigarette.
Before he could respond, all four suspects jumped him and ran off with his Blackberry and $330 in cash.
Home invasion
A gun-toting thug forced his way into a Marine Park home on June 3, robbing the woman inside.
Cops said the victim was sitting inside her Kimball Street abode, which is between Avenues U and T, when the unidentified male entered, pulled a gun and demanded she hand over her ATM card and PIN.
The man then tied the woman up with duct tape and ran off.

Followed and stabbed
A blade-wielding thug wanted the last word in an argument with a 24-year-old on June 2, police said.
The victim said the argument with the 20-year-old stranger started on Glenwood Road near East 59th Street in Flatlands at 11:10 pm.
He thought the argument ended when he stormed off, but his opponent followed him for a short distance, then jumped him, stabbing him in the stomach and arm.
