A broken computer in a Sheepshead Bay home sparked a bloody scene %u2013 on Halloween, no less — in which a 28-year-old man slashed and stabbed his sister 15 times right in front of their pleading mother.
Officials said that the suspect, who was not named, broke his sister’s computer and printer in a fit of rage during an argument at their home on East 11th Street near Avenue Z at 5:10 p.m.
He then grabbed a knife and started hacking at his sister, leaving her with stab wounds to her torso, arms and legs, said prosecutors.
The man’s mother suffered a cut to her hand as shetried to pull her enraged son away, officials said.
Responding officers were more successful and threw the suspect into a jail cell without too much trouble.
Officials said that both women were rushed to an area hospital with the younger one suffering from “limited mobility and muscle damage.”
Her attacker was charged with attempted murder, assault in the first degree, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
Four pranksters were treated to a few hours in a jail cell this Halloween when cops allegedly caught them throwing potatoes at passing cars in Sheepshead Bay.
Officials said that 20-year-old Terquan Oliver and Jalique Washington, Terrell Summers and Emelio Navarro, all 17, were charged with reckless endangerment when they nearly caused a motor vehicle mash-up at the corner at East 24th Street and Avenue Y, police alleged.
When cops arrived to stop the 8:30 p.m. spud fest, the four suspects allegedly bolted, but didn’t get too far.
Their starch-filled diet must have slowed them down.
Cops have arrested an 18-year-old hooligan who allegedly grabbed a woman by the neck during a brutish mugging on 79th Street.
Police were told that the 46-year-old victim had just left a nearby subway and was nearing 15th Avenue at 7:45 p.m. October 28 when Nahiyan Ahmed allegedly stopped her in her tracks.
With his fingers squeezing her neck, Ahmed snagged the woman’s purse and ran off, leaving her with an injury to her head and wrist, police alleged.
Cops caught up with Ahmed a short time later, charging him with robbery and assault.
A fisherman testing the waters off Plumb Beach was forced to cast off his wallet and cell phone to three thugs who jumped him on the Belt Parkway bike path.
The 40-year-old victim said that he had just finished fishing at Plumb Beach Channel near Shore Parkway and was taking the path home at 3 p.m. on October 20 when the three suspects, described as Hispanic males in their 20s, stopped him.
“Give me your money and cell phone,” one of the thieves ordered.
Before he could respond, the thugs sprang into action, with two of the thieves grabbing his arms while the third rifled through his pockets.
The suspects took his property and fled into the weeds, leaving him unharmed.
An 18-year-old suffered a deep cut across his forehead on Bay Parkway during a stand-off with six thugs, cops from the 62nd Precinct said this week.
The victim said that he was near 82nd Street at 6:10 p.m. on October 30 when the group stopped him.
One of the suspects reportedly stepped up to him and lashed out with an unidentified weapon, leaving the victim marked up.
Cops were investigating the man’s claims as this paper went to press.
A 25-year-old thief was arrested after he was allegedly spotted breaking into a home on Bay Ridge Avenue.
Officials said that Vincent Criscuolo allegedly entered the home near 14th Avenue at 12:30 p.m. on October 29, but fled the place empty-handed.
Alerted police officers nabbed Criscuolo after a search of the area.Cops allegedly found a tote bag he used to cart his stolen swag around in his back pocket.
A 13-year-old area boy is having a trouble with cell phone grabbing bullies.
The victim said that he was playing football with friends at a schoolyard on 16th Avenue near 65th Street at 2:50 p.m. on October 29 when an older kid pushed him from behind.
When the teen hit the concrete, the older punk snatched the cell phone from his hand and ran off with it, officials said, adding this was not the first time that this particular child had to call police.
The victim reminded them that he was robbed three weeks earlier. That time, a classmate he was having a problem with followed him home and robbed him of his property, he explained.
Cops were investigating both incidents.
Cops were called to a Coney Island apartment last week after an argument between two women over clothing ended in a brawl.
According to published reports, Keisha Crawley, 35, and Marvo Phillip, 27, were in the middle of a clothing clash inside the West 27th Street home they shared near Surf Avenue at 11 a.m. October 27 when Phillip allegedly slapped her roommate in the face and threatened to cut her with a meat cleaver.
When cops arrived, Phillip alleged that Crawley had punched her in the face, leaving her with a cut lip.
Responding officers took both women into custody, charging them with assault.
All the fisticuffs took place in front of Crawley’s daughter, who called 911, police said.
A 51-year-old Gravesend man was arrested after he was caught mouthing off to a group of Mexican residents, police alleged.
Police said that Nicholas Marra was taken into custody for harassment and assault following the incident on West 3rd Street and Quentin Road.
Prosecutors allege that Marra threw a rock through a window and began screaming at the residents inside.
“You f—king Mexicans, why don’t you go back to your country?” he allegedly screamed.
When one of the residents finally came out to confront Marra, the 51-year-old allegedly punched him in the face and broke his cell phone, officials said.
A Van Sicklen Street resident returned home last week to hear two thieves whispering to each other from behind a closed door, officials said.
The man told police that he entered the home near Kings Highway at 7:20 p.m. on October 23 and claimed he heard “male voices coming from his mother’s room.”
When he went in to investigate, he discovered that someone had entered the room from an unlocked balcony door.
His mother’s purse and some jewelry was missing, officials said.
Three masked gunmen made off with a 27-year-old woman’s car following a daring robbery in Bath Beach.
The woman told police that she had just entered the lobby to her building at 3 a.m. on October 20 when the suspects approached.
The trio swiped the woman’s keys, which were still in the front door, and ran off, officials said.
A short time later, the woman’s 2007 Mazda 6 was removed from its parking spot.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

A thief made the most of a Friday afternoon when he hit two apartments in one West 10th Street building %u2013 including a home in which an 81-year-old woman was inside sleeping.
Cops from the 62nd Precinct said that a first-floor and second-floor apartment inside the building between Avenues O and P were broken into on the afternoon of October 23.
The thief entered through a rear door and swiped some jewelry before fleeing, officials said. No one witnessed the break-in, including the senior victim who reportedly slept through the entire ordeal, police were told.
