Three on three
A trio of brigands robbed another trio of average joes on March 28.
The three victims told cops they had reached Joralemon and Clinton Streets at around 12:30 am when a sketchy thug sneaked up on them from behind and pulled out a gun. He then ordered them to empty their pockets and drop to the ground.
Once on the ground, two ladies emerged from the shadows and patted down the spooked victims. They lost three iPods, three cellphones, and an assortment of purses, IDs, and credit cards worth $1,300.
Subway scare
A craft thief managed to swipe a straphanger’s wallet through the turnstiles at the DeKalb Avenue subway station on March 22.
The victim told cops that he was approaching the barrier at DeKalb and Flatbush avenues at around 6:50 pm when the thief reached through the fence and pretended he had a gun. The daring thug attempted to swipe the 20-year-old’s iPhone, but ended up only managing to get his wallet, which held cards and just $1.
Old and mad
Three thugs mugged an 83-year-old man for his wallet on Wyckoff Street on March 23.
The geriatric victim told cops that he was between Smith and Hoyt streets at around midnight when one of the brigands sneaked up from behind, put a hand around his neck and said, “Don’t move.”
Meanwhile, two other brigands held his arms and rifled through his pockets, eventually snatching his wallet. The cowards got $80.
Red handed
Two teen bozos tried to jump a guy on Dean Street on March 27, but cops were watching the whole time.
Two cops said they spotted the two thugs rifling through a man’s pockets between Hoyt and Bond streets at around 8:15 pm. When cops moved in, the thugs took off running. One of the alleged bozos was quickly apprehended at the scene, while the other alleged scumbag was found hiding behind a car after a chase across three blocks.
Mutt miffed
A pair of punks robbed a man at gunpoint while he walked his dog on March 28.
The dog-lover told cops he was walking his pooch at Aitken and Sidney places at around 12:30 am when a guy approached him from behind, pulled out a Glock, and said — somewhat confusingly — “Drop everything and don’t let go of the dog.”
His partner in crime then patted down the victim, but did not mess with the dog.
The pair got an iPhone, $70, and a bunch of credit cards.
Art attack
A thief swiped an art gallery worker’s wallet from a counter at The Invisible Dog on Bergen Street on March 25.
The artsy victim told cops he had stepped away from his desk at the gallery, which is between Court Street and Boerum Place, at around 11 am. When he returned, his wallet was gone. He said only one person had been in the gallery so far that day.
Planet pilfer
Yet another thief struck at the Plant Fitness on Fulton Street on March 22.
The physically active victim told cops that she had finished her workout in the gym, which is near Duffield Street, at around 4 pm and returned to her locker to find the lock had been removed. By the time she cancelled her debit card, someone had already made a charge on it of $781.
