A road rage incident landed on a whole new level of crazy last week when a motorist was attacked by a skateboarder testing out tricks on Berry Street.
The victim said that he was rolling toward Broadway at 10:45 p.m. on October 1 when he came across the skateboarder, who was blocking the road.
The motorist yelled at the skateboarder to move over, but instead of complying the young man struck the victim’s Honda with his board.
When the victim jumped out of the car to check the damage, the terrible trickster swung his board again, this time hitting the man in the face.
Cops were still looking for the sinister skateboarder as this paper went to press.
A 32-year-old man was arrested last week after he was caught allegedly trying to climb over a fence blocking him from his target %u2013 a Morgan Street warehouse.
Officials said that a plain-clothes cop on patrol spotted Danny Maldanado allegedly in mid-climb near Lombardy Street on October 1 and put the kibosh on the man’s plans.
Maldanado allegedly said that he had been called to the warehouse to make repairs, but that explanation %u2013 for obvious reasons %u2013 was quickly refuted, police said.
Cops charged him with attempted burglary.
A 19-year-old was arrested for allegedly breaking into an area bakery last week after he was videotaped sneaking inside.
Cops apprehended Hubert Winnicki on September 28 following a brief search of the area near the Jaslowiczanka Bakery he had allegedly broke into at 3 a.m. that morning.
Officials said that a video surveillance camera allegedly caught Winnicki entering the bakery and trying to force open the register.
The cash box turned out to be too strong for Winnicki, who exited the Nassau Street location without any dough, police allege.
Police have arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with a heavy-handed attack outside a Driggs Avenue bar.
Police said that the 53-year-old victim was dancing the night away at the bar near Newel Street on September 27.
When he stepped outside for some air, he was allegedly followed by Benedykt Dabrowski, who struck the victim in the head without any warning or preamble.
The victim fell to the ground, where he struck his head and fell unconscious.
He woke up at Bellevue Hospital suffering from a broken skull and inter-cranial bleeding, officials said.
Dabrowski was picked up the following day and charged with assault.
The Jewish holiday season took a sour turn for one Williamsburg resident who had his pricey shtreimel swiped from the top of his head as he made his way to services.
The victim said that he was nearing his synagogue at 9:30 p.m. on October 2 when two youngmales crept up to him on Wallabout Street.
The thieves jumped him, grabbed the fur ceremonial hat and ran off.
The hat was valued at $1,200, officials said.
She wanted to give him a flower bouquet for the record books; he gave her nothing but thorns.
That pretty much sums up the scam played out at Happy Faces flowers on Grand Street last week.
An employee said that the thief entered the store just before closing on October 3 and said that he needed a bouquet of flowers for a special anniversary present.
The employee jumped into action and headed toward the back, giving the thief the freedom to raid the place of nearly $8,000 in store receipts.
When the employee returned, both the thief and the money were gone.
Cops were looking for the con artist as this paper went to press.
Cops are looking for a pistol-packing panhandler who pulled a gun on an area man when he didn’t like the handout he received.
The victim said that he was exiting the Brooklyn Natural health food store on Moore Street at around midnight on September 23 when the suspect shuffled up to him and asked him for money.
When the victim gave him $2, the would-be beggar flashed his gun.
“You f–kin’ white boys have all the money,” the thief said. “Give it up.”
The startled victim forked over everything else he had, which amounted to $80, officials said.
No injuries were reported.

Cops have connected two recent robberies in Greenpoint to the same man.
As they search all over for the suspect, police said that the thief, a 200-pound black male between 25 and 30 years old, approached a 31-year-old man on Wythe Avenue and North 9th Street at 10 p.m. on May 11 with a friend and forced the victim to withdraw money from an ATM for them.
Nearly two weeks later the thieves struck again, this time grabbing a 21-year-old at the corner of North 12th Street and Kent Avenue and forcing him to empty out his bank account at a local ATM.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
