Home invaded!
Three thugs pushed their way into a Division Avenue apartment and held up an 82-year-old for his cash, IDs, and piggy bank.
The robbers knocked on the door of the residence at around 4:20 pm, taking by surprise the victim of the robbery who was at home cooking.
When the resident answered the door, the miscreants pushed their way in and punched the senior in the mouth, leaving him with a cut to the lip that required treatment at Long Island College Hospital.
“Get on the floor!” one of the thugs demanded, before escaping from the apartment, which is between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue, with $1,000, IDs and a blue piggy bank containing $50, police said.
Pedaling perps
Bike-crazed bad guys shoved a pair of cyclists from their two-wheelers in an April 26 bike jacking.
The bicycle thieves confronted the 32- and 40-year-old victims at the corner of Bedford Avenue and Williamsburg Street East at around 6:10 pm and heisted their rides — which police described as a “green bike” and a “black bike.”
Keap out
Thieves cleaned out a South Third Street apartment late on April 23, snatching thousands of dollars of electronics from a residence between Rodney and Keap streets.
The crooks broke through the front door of the apartment between 2:30 pm and 2 am the following morning, heisting a 42-inch television, a computer, a monitor, a hard drive, and a camera from the 29-year-old victim.
Mac attacked
Burglars lifted three Apple laptops from a Knickerbocker Avenue apartment on April 24.
The crooks got into the residence between 6:30 and 10:10 pm and heisted the MacBooks. The front door of the apartment building, which is between Harrison Place and Grattan Street, could easily be opened from the outside, cops said.
Bike heist
Thieves snatched three rented bikes that were locked to a stop sign at the corner of Waterbury and Grand Streets on April 26.
The crooks cut a chain to heist the Fuji Crosstowns — valued by police at $1,650 — while the cyclists were enjoying drinks with friends between 1 and 2 am.
Bottle service
Cops nabbed a 16-year-old suspected of smashing a bottle over a 14-year-old’s forehead during an April 26 dispute.
The suspected perp threw a glass bottle at the victim’s face at around 4:55 pm at the corner of Varet Street and Graham Avenue, lacerating a teen who had been arguing with his assailant before the attack.
But police were able to track down the alleged bottle thrower later that day.
