A hungry thief held up a beloved Italian restaurant on Graham Avenue on July 15 and took $200.
The thief entered Cono’s Restaurant near Ainslie Street at 10:00 pm. He displayed a gun and demanded cash.
The restaurant’s owner surrendered $200 and the thief fled, but was arrested later that day.
Six sticks
Police arrested six thugs who robbed a man on Bogart Street on July 15 and struck him with a stick.
A group of four men and two women approached their victim at 10:50 pm near Cook Street. One displayed a knife, another held a wooden stick, and another perp demanded, “Give us all your stuff and your phone.”
The victim refused to cooperate and one thug struck his arm with a stick. All six crooks were apprehended three hours later.
Grand theft
A burglar broke into a Grand Street apartment on July 16 and stole computers.
The thief broke into the apartment near Humboldt Street after 11 pm while its tenants were out.
When the three tenants returned at 3 am the next morning, they found three computers were stolen and $200 was missing.
Brook broke
A thief broke into a general store on S. Sixth Street on July 16 and stocked up on $1,500 worth of beach supplies.
The burglar entered Brook Farm General Store near Berry Street after 8 pm and grabbed 10 pairs of sneakers, towels, a pair of sunglasses and four bars of soap.
When the store’s owner returned at 11:30 pm, he found the items missing.
Bike pocketbook
A thieving cyclist stole a woman’s purse as she was walking home on Grand Street.
The perp rode up to his victim near Rodney Street at 1:30 am and pulled away her handbag. In the struggle, the perp bruised the woman’s lower arm and took $100 before riding down Rodney St.
TV taken
A burglar broke into a Grand Street apartment on July 16 and took a flat-screen TV.
The thief broke into the apartment near Havemeyer Street after 6:30 pm and grabbed a brand new $1,000 TV and two phones. When the tenants returned at 10:30 pm, they noticed their property was stolen.
Car break
A thief broke into a car parked on Broadway on July 18 and stole the driver’s Prada bag and cash while the victim and her friends were at Peter Luger.
The thief broke the car’s back window at 2:30 am and took nearly $2,000 of property. When the driver returned to her car at 4:00 am, she found her stuff was gone.
Give it
Two greedy perps robbed a man on Bogart Street as he was visiting Williamsburg.
The two men approached the victim from behind at 9:50 pm on July 14 near Leonard Street. One flashed a knife and said, “Give me what you got.”
The victim obliged, handing over his wallet and a cellphone, before the two perps ran away down Bogart Street
Gold chain
Two perps robbed a man of his cash and a pricey gold necklace on July 15 on Scholes Street.
The thugs approached the man near Humboldt Street at 6:57 pm, and one flashed a firearm and asked for his property. The victim handed over $400, his iPhone, and a $2,000 chain before the perps fled down Humboldt Street.
Grand grab
A burglar broke into a Grand Street apartment on July 13 and grabbed $1,900 worth of property.
The thief broke into the building’s front door after 9:30 am and took $1,200 and a $700 computer and camera. When the tenant returned at 6:30 pm later that day, he found his stuff was stolen.
Metro heist
A burglar broke into a Metropolitan Avenue building on July 14 and stole computers from two apartments.
The thief entered the building after 8:50 am and took a laptop from a woman’s apartment. He then broke into another apartment and stole a $3,000 camera and an iPhone.
When both tenants returned home at 7 pm, they found their stuff was missing.
Powers pursuit
A thief broke into a Powers Street apartment on July 14 and took a computer and a Blackberry.
The perp broke into the apartment after 8:20 am and grabbed $1,960 worth of property. When the tenant returned at 10:30 pm later that day, he found his electronics were stolen.
Graham gone
A thief stole a car parked on Graham Avenue between July 10 and July 13.
The driver parked his Honda Civic at 8:30 pm. When he returned three days later, he found his car was stolen.
Vespa stolen
A stylish thief stole a motor scooter parked on Hewes Street on July 13.
The driver parked his Vespa at 4:30 pm. When he returned at 3 am the next morning, he discovered it was missing.
