South 1st Street revels in summer fun

Community cheer was on the menu – alongside bountiful barbecues – as residents turned up the heat and embraced the season of outdoor fun with a block party in Williamsburg.

The sun−kissed day sparkled with neighborly spirit as mom, dad and the kids united with like−minded revelers for a program of special attractions and amusements along South 1st Street, between Keap and Rodney streets.

The annual celebration offered area residents an opportunity to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
