SPOOKY TUNES

One World Symphony conductor Sung Jin
Hong (pictured) has programmed a "Halloween Spectaculaire"
of both classical and new music for the symphony’s Oct. 29 concert
at the Church of St. Ann and the Holy Trinity in Brooklyn Heights.
In celebration of the spooky holiday, the bill will feature Igor
Stravinsky’s "The Firebird" (1919), Engelbert Humperdinck’s
"Hansel and Gretel" (1893) and the world premiere of
Stanley Grill’s "The Invisible Ballet" (2004).

The concert begins at 8 pm. The church
is located at the corner of Montague and Clinton streets. Admission
(including wine and hors d’oeuvres) is $30, $20 students and
seniors. For more information, call (718) 462-7270 or visit the
