If you are of my vintage you remember who sang “Thanks For The Memory.” If you paid attention in history class you recall the battle cry, “Remember the Alamo.” Let’s see if you know who said, “The world will little note, nor long remember, what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.”
No? You don’t know? Here’s a hint — November 19, 1863. Read on. I’ll tell you later.

I remember when Nancy Pelosi made her “drain the swamp” promise? I’m a firm believer in due process but not in her stalling tactics. Can we get this Rangel thing started already?
Do you remember what the letters ATM stand for? The letter M stands for Machine. Calling it an ATM Machine is really saying Automatic Teller Machine Machine?
Do you remember when hot tea was served free of charge in every Chinese restaurant? It was on my bill the last four or five times we ate out. Times change.
While you’re taxing your memory, do you remember when we schlepped suitcases? God bless that first person who put wheels on his luggage and made life a lot easier for us.
English is a funny language. I remember when gay meant happy. Today the opposite of gay is straight yet the opposite of straight is crooked. The opposite of crooked is honest but the opposite of honest is dishonest.
You are as old as me if you remember the following lyrics:
“Not me but the people they say thatthe men are leading the woman astray. But I say that the women of today are smarter than the men in every way.”
Those are the lyrics to a Calypso song that was very popular about half a century ago. While I’ve been saying it all along, proof that the female of the species actually IS more intelligent was finally presented. According to the Council of Graduate Schools, an organization of 500 universities in the U.S. and Canada, women earned 50.4 percent of all the country’s doctorate degrees at graduate schools last year.
Everybody! Sing with me! “That’s right — the women are smarter — that’s right!”

Bill Clinton was paid $15 million for his autobiography, “My Life.” Hillary received $8 million for “Living History.” That’s $23 million for the memoirs of two people who, for eight years, repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn’t remember anything.

Everyone remembers where he was and what he was doing when radical Muslims attacked us on 9-11. I don’t give two spits if filthy-mouth Whoopie or Brilliant Behar don’t like it. They can both look stupid and walk out on me also. We were not attacked by Muslims? Who then? Czechoslovakians? Of course we were not attacked by all the Muslims in the world but all of the attackers were Muslim. By now everybody knows who attacked us. Bill Maher, of all people, defended O’Reilly. Besides — why should O’Reilly, or anyone for that matter, be so concerned about what Ms. Behar thinks? She’s nothing more than an insignificant pimple on a face full of acne.
