Some of the biggest names in pro-sports went to bat for New York’s Bravest and Finest during the sixth annual Softball Challenge USA at KeySpan Park.
The star-studded line-up featured celebrity players from the Knicks, Nets, Giants and Jets, who brought big-league action to the local empire of dreams, 1904 Surf Avenue, wowing the packed stadium with their skills and showmanship.
Among the crew were Jets’ running back Leon Washington, Giants’ cornerback Corey Webster, Nets hoopster Marcus Williams and former Major League pitcher Dickie Noles.
Joining them was Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks.
The softball game was part of a day-long benefit, featuring a homerun Derby contest and a private autograph session for a select group of lucky winners, followed by beach fireworks.
Proceeds will benefit the NYPD and NYFD foundations.
