David A. Boody Middle School thinks so highly of its teachers that they now have a new, state-of-the-art lounge in which to hold conferences, work on lesson plans, or just put up their feet and enjoy a snack.
The 1,000-square-foot lounge, boasting computers with Internet access, a refrigerator and microwave, plus vending machines, was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by students and staffers.
The facility mirrors the Parent Engagement Center, unveiled last year at the Gravesend school, 228 Avenue S.
