Toys ‘R robbed
A crew of Christmas grinches tunneled into the Toys ‘R Us on Flatbush Avenue on Dec. 26, but ran off empty handed after failing to crack the safe.
Workers told police that the thieves triggered an alarm inside the store, which is near Avenue U, at 12:30 am.
The thieves were gone when police arrived, leaving behind a ripped open roof and a damaged — but locked — safe. Nothing was taken, store employees said.
A goon grabbed a young woman and robbed her of her belongings during a Dec. 19 clash on New York Avenue in Flatlands.
The victim, 18, was walking between Avenues K and L at 4:30 am when the fiend ran up and shoved her into a nearby driveway, where he forced her to give up her cellphone and music player.
Four thieves converged on a Ralph Avenue cellphone store on Dec. 16 — taking an assortment of pricey communication devices.
The criminal quartet entered the store, which is between Avenues K and L, at 6:30 pm and immediately began emptying display cases, employees told police.
A 55-year-old motorist with a cane was arrested on Dec. 16 after a road rage incident on Avenue S ended in two injuries.
The motorist was nearing Gerritsen Avenue at 6:40 pm when his car rolled over a woman’s foot, sparking an argument between himself, his victim and her male companion.
Angry words ended in angry actions — the 55-year-old attacked the couple with his cane, leaving them with minor injuries, witnesses told police.
Beaten for backpack
Three thugs jumped a 47-year-old man on E. 54th Street on Dec. 16, robbing him of a backpack full of gift cards.
The victim was nearing Avenue I at 6:05 pm when the thieves grabbed him from behind and began punching him.
After landing a few blows, the thieves scooped up the 47-year-old’s bag and ran off, the victim told police.
A sticky-fingered thief made off with a woman’s wallet on Dec. 13 as she dined at a restaurant at the corner of Avenue H and E. 56th Street.
The woman didn’t realize her wallet was missing until she went to pay for her meal at 7 pm, she told police.
A thief busted his way into a car left parked in the Kings Plaza parking lot on Dec. 16, taking an assortment of items.
The 53-year-old motorist told police that he came to the mall, which is at Flatbush Avenue and Avenue U, to pick up some Christmas presents at 4:30 pm and parked his car. But when he returned to his car a short time later, he learned that someone had shattered his rear passenger window and removed some electronics, a checkbook and a stethoscope.
Two thieves robbed a 23-year-old on Dec. 16 when an iPhone sale on Avenue K went horribly awry.
The victim met two men near E. 40th Street at 5:55 pm, believing that he was going to buy four iPhones from them. But the thugs turned the tables on their victim and beat him until he handed over his own phone.

Two goons opened fire on a 38-year-old man sitting in a car parked on Avenue H during a bloody Dec. 13 clash.
The victim was sitting in the passenger side of the vehicle, which was parked near E. 46th Street, when the suspects walked up and opened fire, hitting him in the neck, torso and thigh.
The 38-year-old was immediately taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition after treatment.
They’re fast, and they leave people furious: Tire thieves converged on the 63rd Precinct this holiday season, leaving a handful of angered residents in their dust. Here’s a sampling of what happened:
• A crew of daring thieves broke into a car dealership on Kings Highway near Preston Court on Dec. 13, taking four tires and rims off a car they found parked inside.
The break-in took place sometime after 8 pm, workers told police.
• A thief swiped the tires and rims from a 2010 Nissan Maxima left parked on Ryder Street on Dec. 15. The theft could have taken place anytime after 11 pm as the vehicle sat parked between Kings Highway and Avenue M, its owner told police.
• Crooks rolled into Bergen Beach on Dec. 16, taking the tires and rims off a 2010 Acura TL parked on Bergen Avenue.
The motorist left his car near Ralph Avenue at 5 pm, he told police.
