Gang of three

Three thugs mugged a 24-year-old woman as she walked to her friend’s house on Sept. 1.

The perps grabbed the victim from behind as she walked past the corner of Havemeyer and N. Eighth streets at around 3 am.

“Don’t move,” one of the crooks demanded, while his accomplices put a gun to the victim’s head and removed her pocketbook — which contained her wallet, iPod, Blackberry cellphone and camera.

A pair of armed crooks snatched a Driggs Avenue Mac user’s laptop on his front steps on Sept. 2.

The thieves grabbed the 24-year-old victim’s computer as he sat in front of his building, which is between N. Ninth and N. 10th streets at around 3:12 am.

The victim gave chase, but one of the hoodlums pulled out what appeared to be a silver handgun.

“Back up,” the thief said, before hopping into a getaway car near the corner of N. 11th Street.

Wii-lly bad crime

A gaming goon heisted video games and a Nintendo Wii from a Withers Street apartment while the residents were on vacation between Aug. 28 and Sept. 6.

The perp got into the residence, which is between Humboldt Street and Graham Avenue, and snatched the console, games, controllers, and a Wii steering wheel used in driving games.

He got Gershed

A crook heisted a cyclist’s bike in a criminal act henceforth referred to as “getting Gershed” in honor of The Brooklyn Paper’s editor, who has been the victim of three separate bike thefts.

The perp hijacked the two-wheeler between 1:45 pm on Aug. 30 and 2:30 pm Sept. 1, breaking the roof racks of the victim’s car to remove the cycle, which was locked atop the vehicle near the corner of Franklin and Java streets.

The thief got away with the racing bike, as well as a saddlebag, pedals, and an onboard navigation system.

Bags snagged

Wrongdoers in Greenpoint keep snatching revelers’ purses and handbags, heisting at least two such carriers in separate incidents this week. Here are the shocking details:

• A thief snatched a 20-year-old woman’s wallet, credit cards, keys, and ID from the Greenpoint Avenue bar Coco 66 between 3:30 and 4:30 am on Aug. 29.

• A crook made off with a 19-year-old’s purse from the Meserole Avenue nightclub Europa on Aug. 30.

The lawbreaker grabbed the handbag — which contained the victim’s purse, keys, shirt, wallet, cellphone and cash — at around 2:45 am and escaped from the venue, which is between Lorimer Street and Manhattan Avenue.
