Lack of control

The 33-year-old victim told police that he and his wife started to argue in the residence between Fourth and Fifth avenues at 10 am.
About 50 minutes later his wife struck him on the head, scratched him on his arms, and kicked him in the groin, causing him pain and momentarily rendering him unconscious.
The suspect faces a charge of assault, according to police.
Break in
A crook pillaged an 11th Street apartment and stole electronics on April 12.
The 38- and 23-year-old victims left the residence between Seventh and Eighth avenues at 4 pm to visit friends. When the 38-year-old woman returned six hours later she discovered that the top lock to the door — which was left unlocked — was locked, and she was unable to get inside the apartment.
She went to a third-floor apartment and out onto the fire escape and noticed that the rear window of her residence was open.
She climbed through the window and saw that her laptop was missing from the living room and that her jewelry box had been tampered with.
When the man got home he noticed that his Olympus camera and lens had vanished.
Ransacked

The 29-year-old victim told police that he left his abode between Fourth and Fifth avenues at 11:30 am and when he returned three hours later he found damage to his door lock and his apartment completely raided.
The bandit got away with three MacBook Pros, an iPad, a Canon digital camera, two lenses, and jewelry.
Grab bag
A quick-handed crook snatched a woman’s pocketbook as she was shopping with her baby in an Atlantic Avenue department store on April 9.
The 28-year-old victim told cops that her Tiffany handbag was on her child’s stroller while she was perusing the store near Flatbush Avenue at 12:40 pm.
The woman noticed that her bag — containing her Coach wristlet, credit cards, debit cards, and $70 — was missing, about 30 minutes later.
Store surveillance video shows the perp walking away from the stroller with the handbag, cops said.
For the taking
A brazen criminal broke into a man’s parked car on Fourth Avenue on April 10 and stole a laptop.
The 36-year-old victim told police that he left his ride between Baltic and Butler streets at 7 am before going to work. When he returned more than seven hours later he noticed the passenger-side window of his gray Sedan was busted and his $1,500 laptop and computer bag was gone.
Window smashed
A bold bandit smashed the window of a car in the parking lot of a Second Avenue chain store and stole a Louis Vuitton knapsack on April 12.
The 30-year-old victim told cops that she parked her gray Jeep in the lot near Hamilton Avenue at 11:30 am and left her bag on the back seat floor of the vehicle before going into the department store.
When she returned 15 minutes later the passenger-side front window was busted and the backpack holding debit and credit cards was missing.
The perp fled in an unknown direction, police said.
Dishonest worker
An employee at a Fourth Avenue bodega stole $25,000 from the cash register everyday from April 8 through April 12, cops reported.
The owner of the grocery near 13th Street told cops that the alleged crook took a sum of money everyday and also stole checks from the company checkbook, forged the owner’s signature, and cashed the checks for a total of $4,000.
Video surveillance at the bank shows the 41-year-old suspect cashing the checks, cops said.
Wallet snatched
