Town Square, Edge 11211, and the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation present SummerStarz, free movies on Thursdays at East River State Park, North Eighth Street & Kent Avenue, now to August 27.
Each SummerStarz evening will start with a children’s hour at 6 p.m., a live music performance at 7 p.m., and children’s films at sunset. Free hotdogs, popcorn, and water, courtesy of Citibank and National Grid, will be available.
On tap August 20 will be arts and crafts by the Greenpoint Toy Center, live music by Kyle Morgan & the Backroad Band, and the feature film, “WALL-E.”
