Police arrested a Sheepshead Bay man on Monday for fatally stabbing 18-year-old Giovanni Olivares in the torso and slashing another 21-year-old victim in the face on Brighton Beach Avenue on Oct. 21.

The deadly stabbing followed an argument between the two victims, the attacker, and possibly others outside a 7-11 store between Brighton Seventh Street and Coney Island at about 2:30 am, police said. Emergency responders transported the 21-year-old victim to Lutheran Medical Center in stable condition, and Olivares to Coney Island Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead, officials said.

On Monday afternoon, police arrested a 20-year-old suspect on charges of manslaughter and assault, according to authorities.
