On Wednesday, BAMcinematek will kick off
"It’s Not Easy Being Human," a film series of works
by Swedish director Roy Andersson.
The first film to be screened is 1970’s "A Swedish Love
Story," which won the Grand Prix at the Berlin Film Festival.
It is one of only three feature films made by Andersson in his
30-year career. Andersson’s features, as well as two shorts and
a selection of his commercials, will be screened from Oct. 27
through Oct. 30 at BAMcinematek (30 Lafayette Ave. at Ashland
Place in Fort Greene). Tickets are $10. For screening dates and
