Brown bag

A thief snatched a bag full of cash from a bakery on Henry Street overnight on April 29.

A 28-year-old employee told cops that workers locked Tazza near Atlantic Avenue at around 11 pm, and then came back at 7 am the next day. That’s when she discovered someone had entered through the front door and swiped a brown paper brown bag full of $300 from inside an unlocked file cabinet.

At least three delivery workers have keys to the front door.

Art attack

An artist beat up a man at a bar on Third Avenue on April 28.

The 25-year-old victim told cops that he was at Hank’s Saloon near Atlantic Avenue at around 11:45 pm when he got into an argument with a 33-year-old art gallery owner. The artist then whacked him over the head with a bar stool, leaving him with a gash on his right eyebrow.

Cops rushed him to Brooklyn Hospital and arrested the artsy jerk.

Sporty swipe

A thug stole a sports car from Livingston Street between April 26 and 29.

The 27-year-old victim told cops that he parked his gray 2000 Acura near Boerum Place at 8:15 am, then came back three days later to discover that his sweet ride was missing.

Baby guard

A hooligan swiped a woman’s purse at Macy’s on the Fulton Mall on April 28.

The 40-year-old victim told cops that she was shopping at the department store near Gallatin Place at around 3 pm when she placed her purse on top of a stroller, then ran to the fourth floor of the building for five minutes.

That was enough time for the jerk to snatch her bag — and the $200 inside.

Bad finance

A scamp snatched pocketbook from a woman inside an office on Adams Street on April 26.

The victim told cops that she placed her wallet inside the desk in her Department of Finance office near Fulton Street at around 9:10 am. She came back a few minutes later and discovered that it, plus the credit cards inside, was gone.

Not Q-ute

A bold hooligan snatched a cellphone from an unsuspecting straphanger on April 27.

The 29-year old victim told cops that he was on the Q train at around 1 am when the jerk then grabbed a fancy new iPhone and fled through the doors as they closed.

Gym rat

A quick-moving thug snatched some cash on April 24 from a man at a Duffield Street gym that makes frequent appearances in these pages.

The 49-year-old victim told cops he set his backpack in the first-floor lounge area at Planet Fitness near Fulton Street at around 4:30 pm, then left for 15 minutes. He came back and discovered the front pocket of the bag was unzipped — and his wallet full of $80 was gone.

Barroom bandit

A jerk stole a purse from lady at a bar on Lawrence Street on April 20.

The 49-year-old victim told cops that she hung her pocketbook on a hook and covered it with a jacket inside a closet at Harry O’s near Willoughby Street at 6 pm. She returned half an hour later and discovered that it and the $74 inside of it was gone.

Shoe snatch

A jerk jacked a purse from a shopper at a chain store on April 29.

The 68-year-old California resident told cops that she set her purse down at 3:15 pm then spent 15 minutes trying on some shoes. That was enough time for the thief to swipe a wallet full of credit cards and the keys to her Toyota.

Mos deaf

A scoundrel snatched a medical aid from a senior citizen at a gym on Atlantic Avenue on April 29.

The 71-year-old victim told cops that he locked his wallet and hearing device inside a locker at the YMCA near Boerum Place, then left for an hour-long workout. He came back and found his combination lock had been clipped and his $3,330 mechanical ear was gone.
