Police found a teenage boy dead in a bathroom stall at Long Island University’s Downtown campus on Wednesday evening, according to a report.
Authorities discovered the body of 19-year-old Bronx resident Edmund Otoo inside a restroom at the college near Flatbush Avenue Extension and DeKalb Avenue at around 6:30 pm after responding to a 911 call, and paramedics declared him dead on the scene, cops said.
It wasn’t immediately clear how Otoo died, a police spokesman said — there were no apparent signs of injury to his body or drug paraphernalia nearby.
The Medical Examiner will now determine the cause of death, he said.
