It’s time to leave the traditional dinner and a movie in the past.

The Drunken Laboratory is keeping the love alive this Valentine’s Day season with its immersive new experience “The Love Lab.” The experience blends love, entertainment and science through a series of interactive games (think “The Dating Game,” “Love Connection” and “The Newlywed Game”).

“Clichéd romantic dinners and other typical Valentine’s Day outings are played out,” said Drunken Laboratory Founder Cautney Nelson. “Instead of doing the same old thing this year, come be a member of our Love Lab ‘game show’ where you can sip a few love potions, win prizes and have a blast. The Love Lab is the only place in New York City where you can metaphorically and literally create chemistry with your significant other, friends or maybe even a new lab partner. Don’t miss it.”

Those who take part in the experience will be called on to participate in the competition. The activities range from competing in trivia and couples’ quizzes, singing some drunken karaoke and creating experiments that are aimed to make sparks fly among the contestants, with prizes to be won at the end.

Not coupled up? No need to worry, these games are catered to suit people of all relationship statuses. Plus, The Drunken Laboratory also has $40 Singles Nights every Thursday for those who may be looking to find some love in their life.

The Love Lab experience runs from now through Feb. 28. Ticket packages start at $54.99, with a portion of the proceeds from The Love Lab going to support Millennial Scnce, a non-profit dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through STEM-focused education.

Participants must be 21 or older.

The Drunken Laboratory is located at 1111 Dekalb Ave., on the border of Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant. For more information, visit thedrunkenlaboratory.com
