The weekender! Here’s what you should do on Saturday and Sunday

Roger ‘Wilco’! We’ve got tickets to the concert of the summer

It’s May Day weekend, so don’t let the gloomy weekend weather keep you from celebrating the ultimate worker’s holiday. Here are the Weekender’s suggestions:

• Tonight, check out the pro wrestling show at Fort Greene’s Masonic Temple.

• In a decorating rut? Head to the annual Brooklyn Designs in DUMBO — and bring our guide to redecorating your pad without making a big dent in your wallet.

• While you’re in DUMBO, join famed chocolatier Jacques Torres’s fight to save his “Champagne Kiss” from Hershey’s.

• Feel the itch and check out the flea markets popping up all over the borough — and take our handy guide with you.

• Get started on your Mother’s Day gift shopping with our handy gift guide. And don’t forget to bake Mom some scones — with our recipe, courtesy of Melissa Murphy of Sweet Melissa Patisserie.

Dance, drink and soak in a eucalyptus-infused bath all at the same time, thanks to indie band, Sway Machinery.

• The sheep and alpacas at the Prospect Park Zoo will get their spring haircuts this weekend (it’s always a party). 11 am. Prospect Park Zoo [450 Flatbush Ave. at Ocean Avenue in Prospect Park, (718) 399-7339]. Free.

• See a puppet show about bees on Sunday in Williamsburg. Dooley loved it!

• Also on Sunday, take the annual Clinton Hill house tour — which ends at a barbecue at the Kelso of Brooklyn brewery! Meet at St. Luke’s Church at noon. (259 Washington Ave., between Dekalb Avenue and Willoughby Street). 2 pm. Barbecue. $10. Kelso of Brooklyn [529 Waverly Ave. between Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue]. RSVP requested at kelsoofbrooklyn.com.

• This is still time to see the cherry blossoms at the Botanic Garden.

Buy your tickets for the Wilco show or, better yet, enter our ticket giveaway!

• Head to Puppetworks for the new show, “Aladdin.” It’s on Saturday and Sunday.

• Go to a fancy new supermarket in Downtown.

As always, these and other great events are in our exclusive family calendar, our great nightlife calendar, and our matchless events calendar.
