The Weekender will be busy on Saturday and Sunday — as usual. Thankfully, The Brooklyn Paper provides this handy guide to everything that’s going on. Click on the links below to be taken to our coverage of all the action:

• Our Sarah Portlock was amused — though not that much — by the Revolutionary War satire at the Brick Theater in Williamsburg.

• Sunday is New York City Marathon day! Check out our handy guide!

• If the weather is nice, why not head to DUMBO for a look at Jane’s Carousel? It was good enough for a bunch of Buckeyes, you know.

• Also on Sunday, run to Babeland for a muffin and a vibrator! The Bergen Street adult toy store is having a brunch where you can meet the staff, fondle the wares and nosh treats from Blue Sky Bakery. Where else can you get a coffee, a scone and a Maverick penis sleeve in one place?

• Run right out and buy Park Slope author John Hodgman’s new collection of entirely fake world facts! Our own Gersh Kuntzman raved about the book and Hodgman.

• There’s a hot new bar in Park Slope called Cabana. Toss back a few Cuba Libres and tell ’em The Brooklyn Paper sent you.

• Our puppetry and mime critic Trey Dooley offers his thoughts.

As always, these and other great events are in our exclusive family calendar, our great nightlife calendar, and our matchless events calendar.

Carlos Baptista, the bartender at the new Cabana Bar on President Street in Park Slope, serves up a Bonfire Bowl, a flaming drink to share with three pals.
