The 3-year-old IBIUBU clothing line is
designed in founder and designer Al Forde’s East New York studio,
and is available at www.ibiubugear.com.

Forde says the name of his company IBIUBU is also its slogan,
"I Believe in Unity By Understanding."
"I do designs for everyone," he said. "We’re not
just hip-hop or urban wear. We do sarongs and gowns. We go over
boundaries." For fall, Forde says IBIUBU is featuring lots
of denim, leather and suede in earth tones, black, navy and royal
blue.
