Cop out
A perp posing as a police officer stole a man’s wallet on 86th Street on June 16, police report.
The victim said he was near 20th Avenue at 5:15 am when a black sports utility vehicle pulled up alongside him and sounded a siren. The driver then told the victim he was a cop and demanded to see the young man’s wallet to see if he was carrying drugs.
The victim complied, and the driver spoke into a radio then sped off with the billfold — and the $1,200 in cash inside.
Keyed up
Four brutes assaulted a woman in her vehicle on Bay 38th Street and stole the key on June 15, according to cops.
The victim told police she was sitting in her car between Benson Avenue and 86th Street at 11:30 pm when one of the savages came up to the window and punched in the head, then pulled the key out of the ignition.
The other goons smashed in the rear window of the vehicle with an unknown object and threatened the woman. The gang of four then fled the scene.
Battered
A goon cracked a man over the head with a baseball bat on 19th Avenue on June 12, according to authorities.
The victim said he standing on the street between 82nd and 83rd streets at 7:30 pm when a complete stranger came up and slugged him on the skull with the club.
Getting jacked
A burglar heisted a jackhammer and a circular saw from the garage of a W. Fifth Street home on June 12, cops say.
The victim reported that he checked his carport between Highlawn Avenue and Avenue S — which he had left unlocked — at 6:30 pm and discovered his pneumatic drill and saw were missing.
Well-trained
A lowlife swiped a woman’s phone from her hand at the Bay Parkway N train stop on June 17, police state.
The victim said she was texting on board the train as it pulled into the station at the corner of W. Seventh Street. When the doors opened, the thief jumped up, grabbed her mobile device, and ran out of the car.
