Fight night
A thief ran off with a woman’s phone she dropped amid a fight outside an Atlantic Avenue arena on July 16.
The victim told police that she was caught up in a brawl outside the stadium near Flatbush Avenue at 11:05 pm, causing her to fumble her iPhone 7, which was quickly recovered off the ground by a nearby opportunist in a white T-shirt, who subsequently outran the 31-year-old woman.
Police have failed to arrest any suspects, and the case has been closed, cops said.
She said, he bled
A 21-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly beating up her 18-year-old boyfriend and threatening him with a knife following an argument inside their Third Avenue apartment on July 18.
The victim told police that sharp words became sharp actions after his beau turned her nails on him, leaving him with scratches on his torso and back inside their home between Wyckoff and Baltic streets at 4 am.
The suspect then snatched up a kitchen knife and said she would stab her bloodied boyfriend, but the woman eventually cooled off and laid the blade back down, cops said.
New York’s Finest arrived later that night, and arrested the woman on misdemeanor assault charges, according to police.
Wrangler
A thief stole a woman’s stereo from her Jeep Wrangler she parked on Eighth Avenue on July 15.
The victim told police that she left her canvas-topped four-wheeler between Sixth and Seventh streets at 11 am, and returned two days later to find some crook had unzipped her plastic windows and made off with her music box, along with a pair of headphones and a battery charger.
Police have failed to arrest any suspects, and the case has been closed, cops said.
Roadside intervention
Police busted a 29-year-old woman accused of driving drunk on Third Avenue on July 19.
The arresting officer claims he spotted the woman breeze through a red light near Carroll Street from behind the wheel of her 2017 Honda Accord at 4:37 am, and, after stopping her, discovered that she reeked of booze, and exhibited other telltale signs of a fun night.
Tests later showed the woman had a blood alcohol content of .098, just over the state’s legal limit of .08, and the officer cuffed her for the misdemeanor offense, cops said.
Debt collector
Some jerk sucker-punched a guy over money on Ninth Street on July 22.
The victim told police his buddy clocked him between Fourth and Fifth avenues at 6:50 pm in response to an outstanding debt, leading him to topple over and suffer a rough landing on his hip.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to the hip, according to police.
No suspect has been arrested, and the case has been closed, cops said.
