Bad delivery
A thief snatched $4,377 from a delivery truck parked on Avenue U on July 13.
The victim told police he parked his vehicle near E. 13th Street at 1:20 a.m., and returned later to discover his cash had been stolen.
Nice try
A thief tried — and failed — to rob a man on E. 12 Street on June 27.
The victim told police the robber waltzed up near Quentin Road and demanded cash at 1:25 p.m.
When the victim told the man he didn’t have money, the robber tried to remove his backpack and punched him in the head, but ultimately came away empty handed, police said.
