Box bandit
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly stealing three bread boxes from outside a deli on Columbia Street sometime between Sept. 6 and 7.
A worker told police the suspect nabbed the bread boxes, worth $75 each, from outside the deli between Huntington and W. Ninth streets sometime between 5 a.m. on Sept. 6 and 1:45 a.m. the next day.
Police cuffed a man shortly after, allegedly finding crack pipes on him during the bust, according to authorities.
Pizza punks
A crook stole a cash register from a pizzeria on Court Street on Sept. 7.
Security footage shows the thief breaking in through the front door of the restaurant between Third and Fourth places at 2 a.m., and swiping the $600 cash register with $300 inside it.
Watch out!
A sneak thief stole a man’s Apple watch from a bar on Smith Street on Sept. 8.
The victim told police that he left the bar between President and Carroll streets at about 1:10 a.m., when he realized that his $429 Apple Watch was gone, and when he returned to the venue, he couldn’t find the gadget.
Pedaling crime
A prowler stole a man’s bike on Hoyt Street on Sept. 8.
The victim told cops that he left his bike unlocked out a store between Douglass and Degraw streets at around 7:12 a.m., and when he came out of the store 10 minutes later, the bike had disappeared.
Sweet tooth
A burglar snatched two packages of cookies and Poptarts from a from a deli on Dwight Street on Sept. 9.
An employee told cops that the bandit stole $10 worth of the sugary foods from the deli between Walcoff and Dikeman streets at about 11:45 a.m.
