Thief swipes soccer gear from man’s stoop

A thief stole a package containing soccer equipment off a man’s stoop on Seventh Avenue on Aug. 16.

The victim told police someone nabbed the parcel containing Saba soccer gear from the front stairs of his home between Sterlin and St. John’s places at around 6 pm.

Police have failed to arrest any suspects, and the case has been closed, cops said.

Bike bandit

Some crook drove off with a man’s Yamaha motorbike he parked on Butler Street on Aug. 26.

The victim told police he left his import motorcycle between Fourth Avenue and Gregory Place at 8 pm, and returned at 7 am the next day to find his ride stolen.

No arrests have been made in the case, which has been closed, cops said.

Car share

A thief nabbed a man’s ’99 Lexus he left on 11th Street on Aug. 27.

The victim told police he parked his four-door between Eighth Avenue and Prospect Park West at 11:15 am, and returned about a half-hour later to find an empty spot where his sedan had been.

Cops have failed to track down the thief, and the case has been closed, according to police.

Wheel crime

A bandit took off with a man’s BMW coop he parked on Third Avenue on Aug. 27.

The victim told police he left his Beemer between Third and Fourth avenues at 7:40 pm, and returned about an hour-and-a-half later to find his German import stolen.

Police couldn’t keep up with the car thief, and the case has been closed without any arrests, cops said.
