Chain of fools
A mugger swiped a pricey diamond and gold chain off a woman’s neck on 13th Avenue on Nov. 9.
The victim told cops that she was between 70th and 71st streets at 2:45 pm when the perp, who had been following her, snatched the diamond-encrusted, $5,000 chain, then ran down 71st Street.

Car jerk
A thief took advantage of an unlocked car parked on 89th Street overnight on Nov. 9, making off with thousands in luxury goods.
The victim told cops that she parked between Colonial Road and Ridge Boulevard at 8 pm. When she returned the next morning,she found that two pairs of designer shades, a camera, headphones, and a diamond necklace and earrings had been swiped.
Purse snatch
A thief swiped a woman’s purse on 62nd Street on Nov. 11.
The victims told cops that she was between 11th and 12th avenues at around 7 pm when a man ran up behind her and grabbed her purse, then jumped into a white sedan and took off.
Clubbed!
Thieves busted into a 62nd Street Norwegian sporting club on Nov. 10 and made off with $100 from the register.
The owner told cops that employees closed the club between Eighth and Ninth avenues at around 4 am. When he returned five hours later, he discovered that the air conditioner had been pushed in, and cash was missing from the register.
